Synchrony invests in nonprofit organizations that empower K-12 public school educators to teach personal finance classes effectively. Our funding supports organizations like:

Connecticut Financial Scholars Provides high school students, teachers, and families with tools to develop financial skills, build wealth, and achieve financial empowerment.
Council for Economic Education (CEE) Improves K–12 economic and financial literacy by equipping educators and school systems with standards-aligned curriculum, professional development, and tools that build practical skills for college, career, and lifelong financial decision-making.

Employee Champions: Financial Literacy Service Corps

Our employee-led train-the-trainer model is designed to provide Synchrony employees with the tools necessary to help ignite passion for financial literacy in their communities. Employees partner directly with community organizations to deliver interactive, practical financial literacy workshops and lessons, equipping students with the real-world skills necessary to build a secure financial future.
