Are digital wallets secure?
Yes. Digital wallets don’t store your entire card number. Plus, they often require biometric data (such as Face ID or touch ID) or password data to use, adding additional layers of protection.*
Where can I use my digital wallet?
Once you set up your digital wallet, you can use it for payments online, in-app, or in-store. When you’re shopping in person, look for the contactless symbol at checkout, including the logos for your digital wallet.
Will using a digital wallet cost me any additional fees?
No, there’s no cost for using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, PayPal or Samsung Pay. Your credit card terms and conditions will apply to purchases.
If I replace my device, what do I need to do with my digital wallet?
You will need to follow the wallet’s setup steps and add your card(s) again to use your digital wallet on different or new devices.
What are encryption and tokenization?
Digital wallets are encrypted and tokenized to protect your card information, meaning that none of your actual card or account numbers are stored within the mobile wallet.
After adding my card in my digital wallet, should I get rid of my physical card?
No, you should keep your physical card as digital wallets are not accepted everywhere.
